Built with Claude

What it looks like when the job runs itself

Aquilon runs on Claude, and built this Academy with it. This page shows how: the way we use it day to day, how the site you are reading was made, and the kind of work that now runs on its own for the firms we build for.

Day to day

How we work with it

  1. Every client has a Claude Project holding the brief, the standing instructions and the documents worth knowing: who they are, what they sell, how they talk. Nobody re-explains a client at the start of a conversation.

  2. Calls become action lists with an owner against each line before the next call starts. Proposals, scoping notes and reports start as a Claude draft and are finished by the person whose name goes on them.

  3. What we keep out is as deliberate as what we put in. Client contracts, wages and anything we would not hand a new starter on day one stay out of it.

This site

How the Academy was built with it

The Academy was written with Claude Code: the pages, the lesson player, the assignment queue the team replies from, and the tests that check it all before anything changes. A person decided what to build and approved each release.

Every line of copy on the site goes through a check, also written with Claude Code, that runs on every change: UK English, no hype words, no exclamation marks, no punchlines. They are the same rules the courses have you give Claude for your own writing.

For clients

What runs on its own

These are the shapes of the agents we build most often for owner-managed firms. In each one the work runs without anyone starting it, and a person still signs off the part that matters.

  • Quote requests

    Today

Requests arrive by email and wait until the one person who can price them is free.

    Runs on its own

Each request is read as it lands, the lines are matched to the price list, and a draft quote and cover letter are waiting by the morning.

    The owner still signs off

Every price, before anything goes to the customer.

  • Chasing what is owed

    Today

Overdue invoices get chased when somebody remembers, in whatever tone they are in that day.

    Runs on its own

The ledger is checked each morning, a chaser is drafted in a tone that fits how late it is, and every reply is logged against the account.

    The owner still signs off

Anything past sixty days, and any customer the owner has flagged.

  • The Monday numbers

    Today

The figures for the Monday meeting take half a morning to pull out of the spreadsheet and the CRM.

    Runs on its own

Last week's quotes, jobs and invoices are pulled into one page before anyone is in, with what moved and what looks wrong marked at the top.

    The owner still signs off

The decisions. It reports; it does not act.
